Role Summary
Jamelljef Limited is seeking an experienced Renovation & Fit-Out Site Project Manager to coordinate and supervise practical renovation, flooring installation and fit-out works on residential and commercial projects.
The successful candidate will focus on site-based project delivery, including site surveys, measurements, work sequencing, material planning, subcontractor coordination, installation supervision, quality checks, snagging control, health and safety compliance and project handover support.
This is a site-focused construction and renovation project management role. The employee will be primarily responsible for coordinating and supervising practical site works, including site inspections, installation coordination, quality checks, snagging control and project handover support. The role requires construction knowledge, site supervision experience, practical problem-solving, technical coordination, quality control and project delivery skills.
The employee will work closely with the Company Director, showroom team, flooring installers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients to ensure that renovation and fit-out projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Renovation & Fit-Out Site Project Manager will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Coordinate and supervise residential and commercial renovation, flooring installation and interior fit-out projects from site preparation to final handover.
2. Attend project sites to carry out site surveys, review site conditions, take measurements and identify practical construction or installation issues before works commence.
3. Check floor levels, substrate condition, moisture concerns, access restrictions, wall/floor junctions, door thresholds, stairs, skirting areas and other site conditions affecting installation or renovation works.
4. Review drawings, site measurements, product specifications, installation requirements and project documents to confirm the scope of works.
5. Prepare practical work schedules, site coordination plans, labour allocation plans and material delivery arrangements.
6. Coordinate daily site activities with flooring installers, subcontractors, suppliers, delivery teams and internal management.
7. Supervise flooring installation, refurbishment works and fit-out activities to ensure that works follow agreed specifications, installation methods, quality standards and project timelines.
8. Check that materials delivered to site are correct, undamaged and suitable for the relevant project, including flooring, underlays, adhesives, trims, accessories and other renovation materials.
9. Monitor material usage, labour time, subcontractor performance and site progress to support cost control and efficient project delivery.
10. Carry out quality inspections during and after works to identify defects, incomplete works, installation issues and snagging items.
11. Prepare and maintain snag lists, site notes, measurement records, delivery records, photographs, change records and completion reports.
12. Ensure that installers and subcontractors follow safe working practices, site rules, company procedures and applicable health and safety requirements.
13. Review completed projects to identify improvements in site workflow, installation quality, supplier performance, snagging control and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications and Experience
The successful candidate should have:
1. A qualification in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, building engineering, project management or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years’ relevant experience in fit-out coordination, construction project management, site supervision, building works management.
3. Experience coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers, delivery teams and internal management.
4. Ability to review drawings, measurements, specifications, site conditions and project requirements.
5. Knowledge of material planning, procurement coordination, delivery arrangements and cost control.
6. Ability to identify practical construction and installation issues and coordinate suitable solutions.
7. Basic working English sufficient for site coordination, understanding project instructions, health and safety requirements and communicating with colleagues, subcontractors and suppliers.
Pay: €42,000.00-€52,000.00 per year
