A Shunter Driver’s role is to facilitate and ensure that all inbound and outbound trailers are safely located in the yard and driven to the loading bays for loading, unloading, ensuring that the brakes are on, and execute all other tasks relating to shunting operation in accordance with operational and Health & Safety procedures. Must be able to follow standard operating procedures and work in a methodical and safe driving manner and follow onsite speed limits. Reporting to their Line Manager, the shunter driver has overall accountability for shunting operations. Complete all tasks with a high degree of accuracy to ensure and maintain organisation standards. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, health and environment procedures. Maintain a safe working environment within the Warehouse and Yard reporting any incidents or accidents immediately to the relevant manager.

Experience & Skills:
● Valid Manual Handling Certificate desired (training can be provided)
