Role Overview
We are currently recruiting Home Care Support Workers to join our expanding team. You will provide personal care and practical support to clients in their homes, helping with daily living activities and promoting independence and quality of life.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Provide personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
Travel to and from clients’ homes to deliver scheduled care services
Support clients with meal preparation and mealtimes, ensuring nutrition and hydration
Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
Encourage independence and respect individual care plans and preferences
Monitor clients’ wellbeing and report changes or concerns to supervisors promptly
Maintain accurate records and complete care notes as required
Follow all safeguarding, infection control, health & safety, and company policies at all times
Essential Requirements
Full driver’s licence (Irish/EU or International) – Essential
Manual Handling / Patient Handling certificates (required)
Garda Vetting / Police Clearance Certificate (required)
Compassionate, reliable, and client-focused approach
Physically capable of performing care duties
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Desirable (Advantage)
Previous experience in home care, healthcare assistant work, Care Skills, or Care of the Older Person
Relevant healthcare qualification (QQI/FETAC Level 5 or equivalent desirable)
