We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable HGV Driver (Category C or CE) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transport and delivery of goods to various commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities
- Safe Transport & Delivery: Operate and drive heavy goods vehicles safely to and from designated locations in compliance with all road safety laws.
- Loading & Unloading: Oversee or assist with the secure loading, securing, and unloading of cargo, ensuring goods match delivery documentation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily walk-around vehicle checks, reporting any defects promptly, and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and roadworthy.
- Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of the company at delivery points, ensuring paperwork and delivery dockets are accurately signed and managed.
- Compliance: Strictly adhere to tachograph regulations, EU drivers' hours rules, speed limits, and site-specific health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- License: Valid Category C (Rigid) or Category CE (Artic) driving license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of proven HGV driving experience.
- Qualifications:
- Up-to-date CPC (Driver Qualification Card).
- Valid Digital Tachograph card.
- Valid site safety pass (if applicable).
- Skills: Strong geographical knowledge of the required delivery regions, excellent maneuvering skills, and a strong commitment to health and safety.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Galway, County Galway: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
