We are structural steel specialists working in Ireland & internationally with a state of the art fabrication facility in Monaghan Town.
We require a Yard & Forklift Operative ideally with stock experience to work full-time. A clean driving license is essential as some delivery work may be required. This is a full-time permanent role that will evolve with the introduction of new systems and processes.
We are looking for a person with:
- Forklift experience is essential
- Knowledge of structural steel- sizes etc will be a distinct advantage
- Sound general knowledge/experience of store/stock operations
- Checking in consumables, sorting bolts etc goods out/returned from site
- Batching plates for fabrication, cutting various threaded bars etc.
- Good numerical and literacy skills and must have sound basic IT skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to work on their own initiative and a willingness to grow and develop with the role.
The job description includes:
- Sorting and placing materials/items on to racks/shelves using forklifts/pallets trucks etc.
- Collecting items from various locations throughout the workshop/store/yard
- Preparing orders and equipment for site
- Checking in all goods in/out with delivery dockets
- Regular stock counting, location checks & minimum order checks
A competitive hourly rate and overtime are available. Full drivers license is essential.
