Senior Therapist & Clinic Coordinator (Skin & Laser)
URBA Skin & Laser Clinic – Athlone Hybrid Role — 50% Clinical Treatment / 50% Front of House & Coordination
At URBA, we are looking for a confident, highly skilled, and people-focused Senior Therapist & Clinic Coordinator to join our busy skin and laser clinic in Athlone.
This is a unique hybrid position for someone who is as comfortable delivering advanced laser and skin treatments as they are running the floor and being the face of the clinic. It suits a senior-level therapist who wants variety in their role — combining hands-on clinical work with real ownership of the client journey and day-to-day clinic operations.
About the Role
This role is split evenly between two core functions:
- Clinical (50%): Delivering advanced laser and skin treatments to a high standard, conducting consultations, and guiding clients through their treatment pathway.
- Coordination (50%): Managing reception, bookings, client communication, retail, and daily clinic flow — acting as the first impression of URBA.
You'll move fluidly between treatment room and front desk, so this role requires someone who can switch focus quickly, stay organised under pressure, and maintain a consistently professional, warm standard in both settings.
Key Responsibilities

- Deliver advanced laser hair removal and skin treatments to a senior, competent standard
- Conduct thorough client consultations, including Fitzpatrick skin typing and treatment suitability assessments
- Recommend and explain treatment pathways, home care, and pre/post-care protocols
- Maintain accurate, detailed clinical and consultation records
- Uphold safety, hygiene, and best-practice protocols across all treatments
- Support and mentor junior therapists on treatment standards where required

Coordination — Front of House & Clinic Flow
- Welcoming and checking in clients with professionalism and warmth
- Managing a busy appointment diary and coordinating daily clinic flow
- Handling phone calls, emails, social media inquiries, and client communication
- Supporting consultation bookings and treatment conversions
- Recommending skincare and retail products confidently
- Assisting with sales targets, clinic KPIs, and client retention
- Managing payments, deposits, invoices, and end-of-day cashing up
- Ensuring the reception and clinic environment remains organised, clean, and professional at all times
- Supporting therapists and management with administrative tasks
- Helping create a positive, energetic atmosphere within the clinic
