About the Position
BuildTech is now looking for an experienced Skilled Tradesperson to join our Construction team.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Working Foreman on residential renovation and extension projects. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong general construction experience who is comfortable carrying out a variety of tasks across live residential sites.
Typical duties will include:
- Demolition and strip-out works
- General carpentry works
- Plasterboarding and associated prep works
- First and second fix support where required
- Assisting with site setup, deliveries and general site coordination
- Keeping the site clean, safe and tidy
- Supporting the Working Foreman and wider team to keep works progressing efficiently
- Working professionally in clients’ homes and maintaining BuildTech’s site standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in residential construction
- Strong practical knowledge of renovation and extension works
- Competent and safe in the use of power tools
- Ability to follow drawings, instructions and site direction
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Safe Pass
- Manual Handling certificate
- Abrasive Wheels certificate
- Full driver’s licence
Remuneration Package

Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 per year
