Affinity Survey is an Irish Land and Engineering Surveying company based in Sydney, Australia.
We are looking for Surveyors or Engineers of all levels from Assistants to Senior Level to join the team in working on significant infrastructure projects across Sydney and NSW, Australia.
Ideally, Engineering Land Surveyor candidates will have:
- Experience with Leica Total Stations
- Surveying or Engineering Qualification
- Previous Construction / Engineering Surveying Experience
- Strong Verbal and Communication Skills
- A Strong Work Ethic and Adaptability
- Driving License
Alternatively, Junior Land Surveyors or Site / Setting Out Engineers will have:
- A genuine interest in beginning or continuing their professional development in becoming a qualified Land Surveyor.
- Surveying or Engineering Qualification
Mentoring and guidance towards diploma and degree qualification in Australia will be provided to Site / Setting Out Engineers or Trainee / Graduate / Assistant Surveyors who join the team as well as practical field experience in their career development from Assistant to Project and Senior Surveyor.
A number of Affinity's current team are Irish Civil Engineers who have decided to make the transition from Engineering to Surveying. With the help and guidance of management and the rest of the team, they have progressed from Assistant to Project and Senior Surveyors as well as obtaining Australian Surveying qualifications via distance learning whilst working full-time.
All internal staff and management are very approachable and encourage autonomy, whilst being at hand to assist, share knowledge and mentor as needed.
