Hoop Medical is a leading edge manufacturer of advanced medical balloons for the global medical devices industry, and is growing fast.
We are now looking for a suitable candidate to join our Quality Team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for inspecting our medical balloons to ensure they meet the required quality standards before shipment to our medical device customers around the world.
You’ll join a friendly team, working 38 hours per week during the day shift, Monday to Thursday, at our manufacturing base in Wexford.
The role will be based at our manufacturing facility in Ardcavan, Wexford.
Full training will be provided for the role.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in medical device manufacturing - however please do consider applying if you do not.
Responsibilities
- Inspect balloon dimensions to ensure customer specifications are met
- Performance test balloons to ensure customer specifications are met
- Perform Receiving Inspection
- Record non-conformities
- Clean and package balloons for shipment to customer
- Liaise with engineering team regarding inspection results
- Inspection data entry
Requirements
- Leaving Certificate standard
- Computer literate
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
Desirable
- 1+ years medical device manufacturing experience
- 1+ years experience in quality support
- Working knowledge of ISO13485 quality standard
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
