This is a genuine leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys building teams, developing people and creating scalable sales operations within a fast-growing international company.
This is not simply a senior sales role. While you will remain actively involved in winning strategic business, your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop an international sales team, implement effective sales processes, and help shape the commercial direction of Alison LMS+.
Key Responsibilities:
You will play a key role in growing Alison's LMS business by:
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing international sales team.
- Driving new customer acquisition while supporting the successful growth of existing client accounts.
- Developing and executing sales strategies that deliver sustainable revenue growth.
- Building robust sales processes, pipeline management and accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
- Working closely with Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams to improve customer acquisition, retention and product development.
- Representing the voice of the customer by providing market insights that help shape future platform enhancements.
- Personally leading strategic sales opportunities and enterprise accounts where appropriate.
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded sales leader who has successfully progressed from individual sales into sales management. You enjoy coaching others, creating high-performing teams and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on commercial execution.
To be successful, you should have:
- A minimum of three years' successful experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within Learning Management Systems, EdTech, HR Technology or enterprise software.
- At least two years' experience managing and developing sales professionals, with responsibility for achieving team sales targets and improving performance.
- A proven ability to lead complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers.
- Strong commercial judgement, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms to manage pipeline, forecasting and sales performance.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and internationally focused environment.
Experience selling Learning Management Systems or corporate learning solutions would be a distinct advantage, as would experience working closely with product teams to translate customer feedback into new features and product improvements.
Why Join Alison?
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to one of the world's fastest-growing online learning platforms. You'll have the autonomy to build and develop a global sales function, influence commercial strategy, and help shape the future of Alison LMS+ as it expands into new international markets.
We are a fully remote organisation and welcome applications from exceptional candidates worldwide. We are interested in finding the best person for the role, regardless of location, and offer a competitive remuneration package aligned with experience, capability and local market conditions.
