HARI OM STONEMASON LIMITED is recruiting 4 experienced Stonecutters / Stonemasons for permanent, full-time positions.

Hours: 39 hours per week
Basic salary: €37,000 gross per annum

The successful candidates will carry out skilled stonecutting and stonemasonry work, including measuring, marking, cutting, shaping, dressing, fitting, installing, repairing and finishing natural and manufactured stone in accordance with drawings, measurements and project specifications.
Employees will be directly employed, paid and supervised by HARI OM STONEMASON LIMITED. As the company undertakes project-based stonework, employees may also be required to work at other HARI OM STONEMASON LIMITED project sites in accordance with company contracts and the locations authorised under the applicable Employment Permit.
Key Duties
- Read and interpret drawings, measurements, templates and specifications.
- Measure and accurately mark stone before cutting, shaping and fitting.
- Cut and shape granite, marble, limestone, slate and similar stone materials to required dimensions.
- Dress, trim, grind and polish stone surfaces, edges, joints and profiles.
- Position, level, align and fit stone components accurately.
- Prepare and apply mortar, cement, adhesives or other appropriate bonding materials where required.
- Construct, install, repair and restore stone walls, façades, structures and other stonework.
- Inspect completed work for dimensions, alignment, finish and quality.
- Carry out repairs and remedial work to damaged or defective stonework where required.
- Safely operate masonry tools, stonecutting equipment, grinders and polishing equipment.
- Follow all health and safety, manual-handling and site-safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a safe and organised condition.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' relevant professional experience as a Stonecutter, Stonemason or in a comparable skilled stoneworking role.
- Proven experience cutting, shaping, dressing, fitting and finishing stone.
- Experience working with granite, marble, limestone, slate or similar materials.
- Ability to accurately measure and mark stone.
- Ability to interpret drawings, measurements and work specifications.
- Good knowledge of masonry tools, stoneworking equipment and safe working practices.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Relevant trade, vocational or stonemasonry training would be an advantage.
Pay: €37,000.00 per year
