Location: Highfield House, Dublin
About the Role:
This summer, Highfield House will transform into a welcoming hospitality hub, offering overnight accommodation to a mix of holidaymakers, leisure guests and university conference attendees. We are looking for full-time receptionists to join our team for the season.
You’ll be the face of Highfield House, reporting directly to our Property Manager, and taking real ownership of the front desk. More than that, you’ll be at the heart of our guests’ experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming every guest, making sure they feel at home from the moment they arrive and throughout their stay.
- Sharing your knowledge of Highfield House, our services, and the local area to help guests get the most out of their time with us.
- Handling phone, online, and walk-in enquiries with care, always following our friendly but professional procedures.
- Managing and reconfirming reservations with attention to detail.
- Listening to guest requests, questions, concerns, or compliments, and making sure each one is passed to the right person and fully resolved.
- Keeping open, clear communication between housekeeping and other teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Processing payments during your shift, carrying out end-of-day reports, and cashing up accurately.
- Above all, you’ll help our team deliver something special: excellent hospitality with a human touch.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 years’ previous experience in a similar reception or hospitality role.
- A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A high-level of spoken English is essential.
- Flexibility to work both mid-week & weekend shifts.
