ATM Contracting Limited is looking for an experienced and reliable groundworker/pipe layer to join our team.
We carry out water-main installations, drainage, deep excavations, ducting, concrete works and tarmac reinstatement throughout Dublin, Kildare and surrounding areas.
Main duties:
- Laying water-main, foul and surface-water pipes
- Setting levels and preparing pipe beds
- Installing manholes, inspection chambers and gullies
- Excavating, backfilling and compacting trenches
- Preparing areas for concrete and tarmac reinstatement
- Working safely around excavators and other machinery
- Keeping tools, vehicles and work areas clean and organised
Requirements:
- Previous groundworks, drainage or pipe-laying experience
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work
- Able to meet in Celbridge each morning
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Digger, dumper, signing-lighting-guarding or other CSCS tickets are an advantage
- References from previous employers will be required
- Must be legally entitled to work in Ireland
This is a full-time position with consistent work available for the right person. Pay will depend on experience, ability and relevant tickets.
Successful applicants may be offered a short paid trial before being taken on permanently.
