Golden Vale Co-operative Mart (GVM Group) was established in 1956 as a co-operative society and opened its first livestock mart in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick in 1958. It has developed into a diversified group involved in livestock marts, property auctioneering, property investment/development and renewable energy.
GVM Auctioneers currently has an opportunity for a residential sales negotiator and valuer together with the role of livestock salesperson.
This is a permanent role based in Kilmallock.
Core responsibilities
- Cover viewings for residential sales.
- Assists senior negotiator and valuer to research and prepare commercial and residential valuation reports.
Skills & Knowledge
- Knowledge of the property and livestock market.
- Ability to progress and, in time, prepare well written valuation reports with relevant rationale.
- Good computer and writing skills.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Relevant degree (desirable but not essential).
- Member or Associate member of IPAV with REV qualification or the SCSI/RICS (desirable but not essential).
Salary
Up to to €40,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 9.30 to 5.30
