About the Role
Senior Link Homecare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the
establishment and registration of a new Emergency Accommodation Service for
children under 18 years. The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise and
assist in developing health and well-being frameworks for children and young people
within the service.
Please note: Conditional upon the successful registration and award of a licence,
and the commencement of service operations. This is a conditional appointment.
Employment, salary, contracted hours, and associated benefits will commence only
upon successful registration, approval, and operational commencement of the
Emergency Accommodation Service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the development of health-related policies and procedures.
Support clinical governance and quality assurance systems.
Provide advice regarding health assessments and healthcare planning.
Support safeguarding and risk management processes.
Assist in preparing documentation required for regulatory approval.
Support staff training in health-related matters.
Essential Requirements
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland. (NMBI)
Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience.
Experience working with vulnerable children, young people, or families.
Strong knowledge of Children First and safeguarding requirements.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full clean driving licence.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Requirements
Experience working in Regulated services.
Experience in child and adolescent services.
Experience in residential childcare settings.
Experience supporting service registration or inspection processes.
Pay: €17.60-€37.00 per hour
