Learning & Development Manager
Location: Hybrid with Occasional Travel

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager to lead the development and delivery of our learning and talent strategy across the organisation.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will play a key role in developing our people, building organisational capability and creating a culture of continuous learning. Working closely with senior leaders and managers across Ireland, the UK and Europe, you will identify current and future capability requirements, implement strategic development initiatives and ensure our workforce has the skills needed to support the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and continuous development of Crown's Learning & Development strategy.
- Partner with senior leaders and managers to identify organisational capability requirements and future workforce needs.
- Conduct company-wide training needs analyses and develop learning strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Design and oversee leadership development, technical training, graduate programmes, apprenticeships and mentoring initiatives.
- Lead succession planning and talent development programmes to build future leadership capability.
- Drive employee development through the management of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and career progression frameworks.
- Oversee the planning, delivery and evaluation of internal and external learning programmes.
- Manage relationships with training providers, educational institutions and professional bodies.
- Ensure training, competency and compliance records are maintained through the Learning Management System (LMS) and HR systems.
- Oversee mandatory training programmes and monitor workforce competency across the organisation.
- Measure the effectiveness and return on investment of learning initiatives through meaningful data and reporting.
- Manage learning budgets and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Coach and support managers in developing high-performing teams and embedding a culture of continuous learning.

About You
You are an experienced Learning & Development professional with a passion for developing people, improving organisational capability and influencing business performance through effective learning strategies.
Essential

Significant experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Human Resources or Organisational Development.
- Proven experience developing and implementing Learning & Development strategies.
- Experience leading training needs analyses, capability planning and organisational development initiatives.
- Experience managing leadership development, succession planning and talent programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent project management, organisational and analytical skills.
- Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Desirable

Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing or specialist contracting.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or Level 7) or equivalent in Learning & Development or Human Resources.
- Experience supporting organisational change and workforce transformation.
