As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic Technical Sales Advisor to become a key member of our team.
About the Role
Based at our Carrick-on-Shannon headquarters, you'll work across our showroom, phone and email sales, supporting customers throughout Ireland.
You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, helping them by phone, email and in person. Your role will involve understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable products, preparing quotations and following up opportunities to convert enquiries into sales.
No two days are the same. One customer may be looking for LED vehicle lighting, while the next needs advice on an off-grid power system or battery charging solution.
Full product training will be provided, with the opportunity to grow into system design and larger project work as your expertise develops.
We sell on expertise and long-term relationships, not pushy sales targets. Our customers come to us because they value knowledgeable advice, quality products and ongoing support. We invest heavily in product training and encourage our team to develop technical expertise so they can confidently help customers find the right solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and in person.
- Build strong relationships with trade and retail customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations and proactively follow them up.
- Process customer orders efficiently.
- Develop repeat business from existing customers.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
- Assist customers in our showroom.
- Work closely with our workshop and technical team to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records using our business systems.
- Continue developing your technical knowledge through ongoing manufacturer training.

Previous experience with Victron Energy or renewable energy products is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Essential Requirements
- Full clean Category B driving licence.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong computer skills.
- Authorised to work in Ireland.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
