Are you passionate about film, hospitality, and delivering unforgettable customer experiences? The Arc Cinema is looking for a motivated and dynamic Duty Manager to help lead our amazing team and ensure every guest has a first-class cinema experience.
Reporting to the General Manager of Arc Cinema Ennis, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As Duty Manager, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day running of the cinema. You’ll inspire your team, maintain high standards, and ensure smooth operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking operational control during your shifts – including opening and closing the cinema
- Leading, motivating, and supporting staff to deliver exceptional service and hit key performance targets
- Ensuring our high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety (including HACCP compliance) are maintained
- Delivering hands-on leadership – working alongside your team across all cinema areas (selling, ushering, cleaning, etc.)
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution every time
- Supporting stock management, pricing, and promotional decisions
- Following cash handling and company policies with accuracy and care
- Contributing to marketing, events, and ideas to enhance the overall customer experience
- Providing regular feedback and insights to senior management to help improve the venue
- Maintaining daily administrative tasks including reporting and KPI tracking

You are:
- A people person with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- A natural leader who can inspire and guide a team to success
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented, particularly when it comes to presentation and service
- Organised, proactive, and tech-savvy (Microsoft Office skills essential)
- Experienced in hospitality, leisure, or food & beverage (2+ years preferred)
- Experienced in supervising or managing teams (2+ years preferred)
- Fully eligible to work in Ireland and able to commit to a full-time schedule including evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts
