Job Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and dependable Outdoor Maintenance & Forecourt Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our petrol station and forecourt remain clean, safe, well-stocked, and welcoming for customers.
This is a physically demanding job requiring the lifting of heavy products, power washing, sweeping, weeding and painting etc on an ongoing basis.
The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards throughout the site and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. The role involves a variety of physical tasks and requires someone who is proactive, organised, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the forecourt and outdoor areas.
- Clean, inspect, and replenish customer toilets throughout the day to ensure high hygiene standards.
- Empty and clean outdoor bins and litter-pick around the site.
- Receive and safely unload deliveries.
- Stock and replenish solid fuel.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults promptly.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Assist with general site maintenance duties as required by management.
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting heavy items, including bags of solid fuel.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
