About The Fleet
The Fleet Hotel is a wonderful boutique style Hotel located in the centre of Dublin on the edge of Temple Bar. It comprises of some beautiful period buildings including the iconic Bewleys Café, much loved by Dubliner’s for decades. The Fleet Hotel is synonymous with local Dublin history, before becoming the Fleet Hotel, 19/20 Fleet Street was home to Bewley’s Café which was established by Ernest Bewley in 1905. Bewleys were known to be one of the finest Tea Houses in Europe and a favourite with Dubliner’s for generations.
Role & Responsibilities
The Duty Manager will be focused on consistently delivering a high quality and excellent service in keeping with the character and ethos of the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that guests' needs and expectations are met while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Your role with us will include:

To work closely with the wider management team to assist with the daily running of the Hotel, ensuring the delivery of excellent guest service from all operational departments.

To ensure any customer complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

To have full knowledge of the Hotel and all its departments.

Supervise and provide support to the front of house teams daily.

To ensure that all our customers receive the highest quality of service.

Assist in the management, training, and development of all the F&B teams, ensuring objectives are regularly monitored and always achieved.

Assist with performance management issues, ensuring they are always dealt with efficiently and professionally.

To conduct operational training with employees on a regular basis.

Attend meetings on a weekly basis and communicate information to the relevant personnel.
HEALTH & SAFETY

To ensure that reasonable care is taken for health and safety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other person on the premises.

To keep your work area tidy and safe and report any hazard, accident, loss or damage to management.

To be aware of trained first-aid personnel on the premises and the location of first aid box.

To observe all safety rules and procedures, including those laid down in the Health & Safety Statement for your place of work.

To carry out and promote fire and accident drills as directed by the hotel safety officer.
About The Role
Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisor or management role within the hospitality industry is required

The ideal candidate must be available to work both day and evening shifts
-
The ideal candidate must be able to work any five days per week including weekends and public holidays
