The Work
You will be responsible for completing a range of tasks to a consistently high standard:
- Attic Conversions: Executing structural framing, flooring, insulation, and plasterboard for full conversions.
- 1st Fix Carpentry: All aspects of rough carpentry, including constructing wall partitions, internal stud work, floor joists, and roof framing.
- 2nd Fix Carpentry: Delivering meticulous finish work, such as hanging doors, fitting ironmongery, and installing skirting boards, architraves, and mouldings.
- External Projects: Accurately installing composite decking systems (including sub-frame construction) and various styles of fencing and gates.
Essential Requirements
Candidates must meet the following non-negotiable criteria:
- Experience: Proven, hands-on experience in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
- Safety: A valid Safe Pass card is mandatory.
- Tools: Must own a comprehensive set of professional hand and power tools.
- Transport: Reliable personal transport and a clean driving license to travel to job sites.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans, and excellent attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €25.00-€32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
