Position: Part-Time Kitchen Porter
Location: Four Seasons Hotel, Carlingford, Co. Louth
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the kitchen, food preparation areas, and storage rooms clean and tidy.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required (e.g., peeling vegetables).
- Empty bins and dispose of waste according to hygiene regulations.
- Receive and store food deliveries correctly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Help maintain a clean and organised working environment.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Requirements:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage but is often not essential, as training is usually provided.
