The Role
The Person in Charge will be responsible for the overall management of the designated centre in line with HIQA Standards & Health Act 2007 Regulations.
The successful candidate will lead and support staff, ensure excellent resident outcomes, and work collaboratively with the Board of Directors, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and day-to-day operational management of the centre
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in a culture of dignity and respect.
- Maintain compliance with all HIQA regulations and standards
- Lead clinical governance, risk management, and quality assurance systems
- Manage staffing, supervision, and staff development
- Ensure effective communication with residents, families, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures
Applicants must:
- Hold a relevant qualification in Nursing, Health or Social Care Degree
- Be registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ management experience in residential care services
- Hold a full clean driving licence.
Pay: €52,000.00 per year
