URGENT HIRE: Part-Time Retail Sales Associate
(Immediate Start Required. Note: Candidates must be available to work weekends.)
Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate, your primary responsibility is to work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about our products, and recommend the right solutions. You will be expected to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you should stay up-to-date with product features and consistently maintain our store’s visual appearance to high standards. Ultimately, your goal is to deliver excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
- Assess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product features.
- Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries.
- Consistently meet or exceed the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain assigned areas in an in-stock, organized, and presentable condition.
- Actively seek out and engage with customers on the sales floor.
- Remain knowledgeable about offered products and discuss available options.
- Process POS (Point of Sale) purchases accurately and efficiently.
- Cross-sell products to maximize transaction value.
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges gracefully.
- Collaborate with co-workers to ensure seamless customer service.
- Build productive and trusting relationships with customers.
- Comply with all inventory control procedures.
- Suggest actionable ways to improve sales (e.g., planning marketing activities, optimizing the store’s layout).
