We are hiring for a Fabrication Order Administrator to join our team.
AMS - Architectural & Metal Systems Ltd. is Ireland’s only independently owned manufacturer of extruded aluminium profiles. We specialise in aluminium extrusion, powder coated aluminium and sheet metal fabrication as well as providing many other services from our vast 400,000 sq. ft. facility. AMS also supply a wide range of thermally efficient aluminium windows, doors, and other commercial systems to various industries globally. The company’s business divisions include standard engineering products, architectural glazing systems, curtain walling, architectural paint and anodised finishes and a bespoke aluminium design & extrusions service.
We are currently seeking a Fabrication Order Administrator to join our fast-paced environment.
This is a great opportunity to join our growing team at AMS in the Fabrication Department. Our ideal candidate will have experience in order administration or customer service, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Core hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm & Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
Key responsibilities:
- Process fabrication orders from receipt through to manufacturing and invoicing.
- Prepare and issue the relevant order and manufacturing documentation.
- Use systems such as Navision to process and monitor orders.
- Deal with customers in person, by email and over the phone.
- Review and monitor sales orders for assigned customers.
- Maintain knowledge of current products and pricing.
- Follow up with customers after sale to obtain feedback and resolve any issues.
- Work closely with the Fabrication team to achieve departmental goals and targets.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Strong numerical and computer skills.
- Flexible, adaptable and willing to support changing workloads.
- Technically minded, with the ability to read working drawings.
- Knowledge of facades, windows and doors would be a strong advantage.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
