As a Graduate Psychiatric Nurse, you will work across various psychiatric, acute mental health, and high-support units, supporting adults with a wide range of mental health and behavioural needs. You’ll gain exposure to different clinical environments, helping you develop confidence, adaptability, and a strong foundation for your future career.
This role is designed for graduates who are enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn while delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

Support adults with complex mental health needs, including those experiencing challenging behaviours or dual diagnoses.

Assist with medication administration under supervision and maintain accurate clinical records.

Participate in assessing, planning, and delivering individualised care plans.

Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary teams across multiple Cork City facilities.

Promote dignity, recovery, and positive clinical outcomes for all service users.

Newly Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) with NMBI or registration pending.

Clinical placement experience in psychiatric or acute mental health settings.

Enthusiastic, adaptable, and open to learning in fast-paced or specialised environments.

Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Interest in developing skills in complex mental health, crisis intervention, or rehabilitation services.

€24–€32 per hour (Day Shifts)
