We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative Motion Designer and Graphic Designer to join our expanding design studio, Stray Dog, part of the Doggett Group, based in Harold's Cross, Dublin 12.
We are looking for a part time or full time member to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative professional with a strong interest in animation and motion graphics to join a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment. You'll work across a variety of projects, creating engaging animated content, motion graphics and visual assets for a range of brands and campaigns.
We’re looking for someone who has a strong eye for design and understands how to bring ideas and static artwork to life through movement. Animation and motion design experience is essential for this role.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in animation and motion graphics.
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and other relevant Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- A strong understanding of movement, timing, transitions and visual storytelling.
- Creative flair with excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to take a brief and develop creative, engaging animated content.
- Ability to work across multiple projects and manage deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating previous animation and motion design work.
Desirable Skills
Experience in any of the following would be considered an advantage:
- Graphic design experience, particularly using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience with video editing and short-form video content.
- Experience working with typography and kinetic text.
- Illustration skills.
- Experience working with branding and adapting existing brand guidelines.
- 3D animation or motion design experience.
- Experience working within a design studio or agency environment.
