The Gleneagle Hotel is currently recruiting a Full Time Day Porter to join our team. This is a permanent, year‑round position and is not suitable for students, as it requires full‑time availability throughout the year, including weekends.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and enjoys creating a warm, welcoming environment for our guests. If you’re enthusiastic, helpful, and guest‑focused, we’d love to hear from you.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities

Provide a polite, efficient porter service to all guests, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

Assist guests with information on events, local attractions, directions, and recommendations

Support other hotel departments when required

Meet and greet guests at the hotel entrance in a warm, professional manner

Assist with luggage, guide guests to their rooms, and explain room features and appliances

Serve guests in the lobby area as needed

Set up and break down meeting rooms

Provide accurate information about the hotel and local area
Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or tourism is an advantage

A positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills

A genuine passion for guest care

Ability to work on your own initiative

Flexibility to work weekends as required
