The Role
As a Linen Porter, you’ll play a vital role in our housekeeping team, ensuring that all linen, towels, and housekeeping supplies are stocked, organized, and delivered efficiently. You’ll also assist with setting up extra beds, sofa beds, and cots in guest rooms, helping maintain our exceptional five-star standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Collect, sort, and distribute clean and used linens to various hotel departments.
- Ensure linen rooms and storage areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Work closely with the laundry team to manage stock levels and ensure timely supply.
- Assist housekeeping staff by delivering linen, towels, and other essential supplies. - Set up extra beds, sofa beds, and cots in guest rooms as required.
- Assist with cleaning public areas to maintain a pristine environment.
- Support the housekeeping team with additional tasks as needed.
- Report any damaged or missing linens to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
✔ A hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented attitude.
✔ Ability to lift and carry linen bags, housekeeping supplies, and extra beds.
✔ Strong teamwork and communication skills.
✔ Flexibility to work weekends and shifts as required.
