About Us:
Rogers Law Solicitors is a well-established law firm based in Dublin 7, specialising in various areas including but not limited to Probate, Assisted Decision Making, Personal Injury, Child Law, and Social Welfare Law. We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Legal Assistant to join our dedicated team.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will support our Child Law and Social Welfare Law team with both administrative and client-facing duties. The position requires strong organisational skills, excellent written and spoken English, and a minimum of 6 months' experience working in an Ireland located Law Firm (essential).
Please note that this position is not recommended for FE1 candidates.
This is a fully office-based role. The successful candidate must be available to work on-site at our Dublin 7 office, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting letters and emails to clients and third parties
- Speaking with clients over the phone in a clear, professional, and empathetic manner
- Managing, organising, and updating client files and records
- Preparing and lodging books in the List Room
- Filing papers in the Central Office and Dublin Combined Offices
- Handling daily post (receiving and sending)
- Using Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Liaising with colleagues and external parties when necessary
- Attending to external tasks such as delivering and collecting documents at the Post Office, the Four Courts, the List Room, and the Law Library, as well as other ad hoc errands as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an Ireland located Law Firm(essential)
- Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written).
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Professional and friendly manner when dealing with clients and colleagues.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 09:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- 1 hour lunch break every day.
