Full job description: Office administrator and bookkeeper
We seek an office administrator and experienced bookkeeper to become part of our dynamic, fast-growing telecommunications company with a global presence. In this role, you will work from our satellite office based in Enaghan, Geashill, providing essential support to our international team and stakeholders. Your Bookkeeping responsibilities include:
Open client and supplier accounts
Post supplier invoices
Debtors' ledger maintenance
Prepare invoices for weekly/monthly payment runs
Raise purchase orders and inventory management in SAGE
Creditors ledger maintenance.
Post invoices, credits and statements to customers
Chase up overdue accounts with customers
Management of the Direct Debits – posting and allocation.
Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
VAT Lodgements, including compiling VAT3, VIES and RTD reports and submissions
Postponed accounting allocations, reconciliations and submissions
Journal entries and reversals
Monthly/Weekly Payroll
Calculating and reporting on commissions
Maintaining asset registers
Your administrator duties include:
Acting as a point of contact for customers, clients or suppliers via email, phone or in person.
General Filing
Travel coordination and management
Company Insurance Management
Data entry and control for client and services databases
Any other reasonable requests made by management
The skills that would make you a suitable candidate:
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in Sage accounting software or similar financial management software
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to collaborate effectively while also being self-motivated
Capacity to multitask efficiently
Quick to adapt and learn new systems and processes
Over 2 years of experience in a similar role
