Role Overview
Reporting to the board of directors, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering world-class playing conditions across our 18-hole championship course & practice facilities. You will be involved in all aspects of course setup and maintenance, including
- Supervising and motivating the greenkeeping staff in daily operations to ensure the golf course is prepared to highest standard for members and guests to the club.
- Managing turfgrass maintenance programs across greens, fairways, tees, and bunkers.
- Assisting in the implementation of the club’s agronomic and sustainability strategies.
- Operating and maintaining modern turf management equipment and irrigation systems.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of a Level 6 Greenkeeping or Turf Management Qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in similar or supervisory role at high quality golf venue.
· Strong know of modern turf practices, drainage & irrigation systems.
· PA 1,2,6, Spraying Certs.
· Hold a current Driver's Licence.
· Cultural and chemical knowledge for fine turf maintenance.
· Machinery, Irrigation, Chemical, Fertilizer knowledge.
· A positive attitude and pride in presentation, detail and consistency with their work.
