Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team. This is a vital role supporting our chefs and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and back-of-house areas
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently
- Assist with basic food preparation as required
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly
- Dispose of waste in line with health and safety regulations
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends
