Steel Fixers Required – PMD Formwork
PMD Formwork are currently recruiting experienced Steel Fixers to join our team.
Most of our work is based in Galway and across the West of Ireland, with long-term opportunities available for the right candidates.
The Role
We are looking for reliable and experienced steel fixers who can work as part of a busy construction team on residential and commercial projects.
Duties will include:
- Reading and working from steel reinforcement drawings
- Cutting, bending, tying and fixing reinforcement steel
- Preparing reinforcement for foundations, slabs, walls, beams and other concrete structures
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a site team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
Requirements
- Previous steel fixing experience is essential
- Ability to read drawings and work accurately
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling required
- Own transport desirable
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability and good timekeeping are essential
