Ayrton Group are seeking a Senior HSE Manager to join our client, a global technology group, working within their Ireland and Pan-EMEA operations.
The Senior HSE Manager will guide the implementation and administration of EHS programs and procedures per company and applicable regulatory requirements. They will ensure constant compliance with relevant regulations and company requirements.
This is a 2-3 year contract position with the potential for long-term, working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Environmental Health and Safety advisory/support services.
- Technical and operational support services including work safety protocols, supporting management system requirements, etc.
- Conduct routine site inspections and periodic compliance reviews.
- Develop, organize, and deploy location specific training and emergency response support/planning.
- Monitor and investigate workplace accidents/incidents/near misses.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective action.
- Support local environmental requirements.
- Undertake other associated technical/operational support as required by Google from time to time.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years experience required.
- Relevant degree or post graduate qualification.
- Additional H&S qualifications/experience such as Fire, Environmental, Construction or Event Safety would be advantageous.
- Experience with EHS compliance management, including regulatory and consensus standards.
- An effective communicator with the ability to send clear, concise and consistent messages (both verbally and written).
- Ability to effectively participate in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
- Able to effectively communicate with and influence multiple stakeholders including senior leadership.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
- Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solver, project management skills and strong focus on results.
- You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
