As Senior Retailer Executive, you will support the delivery of a high-performing retailer network by helping retailers with onboarding, operational queries, issue resolution, compliance support, reporting and continuous improvement. This is a varied operational role that combines retailer engagement, service management, data analysis, project coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with teams across Operations, Regulatory & Compliance, Finance, Data & Technology, Logistics, Communications and Customer Experience to ensure retailers receive timely, practical and effective support.
This role is ideal for someone with strong operational judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills, a practical problem-solving mindset and the ability to turn data and insight into action.
What You’ll Do
- Manage retailer and consumer cases through Abtran Connect / CRM, ensuring timely, high-quality resolution and strong service delivery.
- Coordinate issue resolution across Customer Service, Data & Technology, Finance, Logistics, Compliance and Communications teams.
- Support retailer portal and membership administration, ensuring registrations, updates and data are accurate and well maintained.
- Assist retailers with onboarding, compliance queries, operational readiness and day-to-day support.
- Coordinate retailer-facing initiatives, including timelines, stakeholders, reporting, administration and follow-up actions.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges including RVM issues, take-back process gaps and store-level escalations.
- Track actions from retailer meetings, store visits, operational reviews and escalations, ensuring follow-through to completion.
- Produce and analyse retailer performance reports, including redemption, RVM, retailer activity and operational trends.
- Maintain retailer templates, operational guidance, support documentation, SOPs and QMS materials.
- Support continuous improvement across the Retail function and provide operational backfill for the Retail Manager when required.
Who You Are
- An experienced retail operations, customer service, compliance or membership administration professional with strong operational delivery skills.
- Highly organised, structured and comfortable managing multiple workstreams, competing priorities and time-sensitive actions.
- A confident communicator who can build strong relationships with retailers, internal teams and external service providers.
- A practical problem solver who can analyse issues, identify root causes and coordinate solutions through to completion.
- Data-driven, with the ability to interpret trends, KPIs and operational insights to support decision-making.
- Comfortable working in a high-compliance environment with strong governance, audit and documentation expectations.
- A collaborative team player who can influence, coach and support others while maintaining high standards.
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail operations, customer service, compliance, membership administration or a similar high-volume operational environment.
- Strong project coordination or project management experience, with the ability to manage timelines, stakeholders, risks and follow-up actions.
- Experience analysing operational issues, making recommendations and supporting implementation of improvements.
- Proven data reporting, validation and analysis skills, including the ability to identify patterns, trends and operational insights.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple teams or functions.
- Experience maintaining SOPs, QMS documentation, audit-ready processes or similar operational governance materials is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience in FMCG, retail, supply chain, environmental services, waste, sustainability or Extended Producer Responsibility environments.
- Familiarity with RVM systems, automated collection technologies or retailer redemption processes.
- Experience representing an organisation at industry forums, retailer briefings or multi-stakeholder meetings.
- Qualifications in project management, operations, analytics, retail management, sustainability, environmental management or a related area.
- Experience supporting non-compliance workflows or working in a regulated operational environment.
