Are you a skilled CAD Technician with a passion for joinery and bespoke craftsmanship? Or perhaps you're an experienced Joiner looking to transition into a design-focused role? Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll play a vital role in transforming design concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings that bring exceptional projects to life.
What You'll Be Doing
- Producing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects
- Interpreting architectural and interior design drawings, specifications, and client requirements
- Collaborating with designers, project managers, and workshop teams to ensure designs are practical, accurate, and manufacturable
- Preparing cutting lists, material schedules, and technical documentation
- Updating and revising drawings based on client feedback and site measurements
- Ensuring all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards
What they're Looking For
- Previous experience as a CAD Technician within joinery, woodworking, fit-out, or a related industry
- Alternatively, an experienced Joiner with strong technical knowledge and an interest in moving into a design-based position
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software
- Strong understanding of joinery methods, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable Experience
- CNC programming or CAM software knowledge
- Experience working on bespoke furniture, interiors, or fit-out projects
- Site measurement and surveying experience
