Role Description
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for everyday upkeep and maintenance of a high-speed automated bakery.
This will include regular and planned maintenance, unplanned maintenance on all equipment including facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Day to Day
- Trouble shooting and repairs on Bakery Equipment
- Scheduled work orders and projects
- Liaise with all departments on site
- Complete all relevant documentation for work carried out
- Participate in appropriate training
- Flexibility to work on all equipment and utilities as required
Other Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Mechanical experience is an advantage.
Work Environment
- Manufacturing bakery plant with exposure to heat, noise, and production equipment.
- Shift Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4:30 pm
- On occasion the person may be required to work additional shifts/alternative shift pattern/Holiday cover
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 Years Industrial experience (Food Manufacturing an advantage)
- Mechanical and Electrical fault-finding experience
- Experience of Bakery systems an advantage
- Available for overtime duties if required
Qualifications Required
- Professional Qualification (Electrical/Mechanic) or Time served Apprenticeship
