Tidy Tails Dog Groomers is growing, and we're looking for two fantastic groomers to join our team! We're looking for an experienced Full-Time Senior Groomer and an experienced Part-Time Groomer to become part of our salon in East Wall. These are hands-on roles for groomers who are confident in their skills, love working with dogs and can work independently when required.
Full-Time Senior Groomer This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced groomer who is ready to take ownership of their work and be trusted to run the salon independently. You will be responsible for looking after your own appointments from start to finish, providing a high standard of grooming and making sure every dog leaves looking and feeling their best.
●We're looking for someone with:
●2+ years' professional dog grooming experience
● A recognised dog grooming qualification/certification ●Strong experience working with a variety of breeds, sizes and coat types
●Confidence carrying out full grooms from start to finish ●Excellent clipping, scissoring and breed-specific grooming skills
●Confidence with bathing, drying, nail trimming, ear cleaning and general coat care Excellent dog-handling skills and a genuine understanding of dog behaviour
●The ability to assess coats and recommend the most suitable groom
●The confidence to work completely independently
●The ability to manage your own appointments, customers and day-to-day salon responsibilities
●Excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene
●A professional and friendly approach with customers Reliability, initiative and a real pride in your work
Part-Time Groomer We're also looking for an experienced Part-Time Groomer to join our team.
Although this is a part-time position, you must be comfortable working independently, as there will be occasions where you will be the only groomer in the salon. You should be confident taking responsibility for your own dogs and completing grooms to a high standard without needing someone beside you.
