Job Description:
As a Delivery Lead you will play a pivotal in overseeing the successful delivery of complex transformation projects. A key element of your is to lead and manage end-to-end delivery activities, ensuring outcomes are aligned to business objectives and deliver measurable value. Working closely with client stakeholders, you will build trusted relationships, provide delivery leadership and strategic guidance, and help shape solutions that address business challenges and support client goals. You will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality projects and programmes, delivering solutions for our clients.

Lead a multi-functional team, coordinating delivery activities across the project or programme lifecycle.

Provide functional and technical management to support design and implementation work.

Manage resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting and capacity planning for the project or programme

Tracking and managing project or programme financials, ensuring delivery remains aligned with agreed objectives and targets.

Integrated project and programme planning.

Management of delivery risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies.

Provide comprehensive status reporting and communication to senior stakeholders.

Collaborate with programme and project management, business owners, development, test and change teams, and operations to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.

Become a trusted advisor to clients to ensure alignment between their expectations and our delivered solutions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency, effectiveness, governance and quality.

Develop and enhance relationships with clients to identify opportunities where Accenture’s solutions can bring further innovation and value to meet their needs

Perform sales and solution support in delivery opportunities including solution planning, timeline, estimate and team structure.
Required skillset:
- Strong experience in delivery of complex projects or programmes.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong planning, organisation and governance capabilities.

Ability to communicate findings and status to a non-technical audience

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven track record leading delivery across hybrid and scaled agile models.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5+ years’ experience in delivery and leading technology projects through the full delivery life cycle

Professional qualification in project management. (e.g. PMP, Prince2, etc)

Experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies

Proven ability to lead and manage people, within own reporting line and across wider teams, to achieve required outcomes

Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
-
Previous experience working within the Utilities/Electricity sector would be beneficial
