Senior Accounts Assistant / Part Qualified Accountant
Bay Enterprises specializes in the Industrial repair of manufacturing equipment and the provision of engineering services nationally.
Bay Enterprises is seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant or Part Qualified Accountant to join the Finance Team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and CEO, the Senior Accounts Assistant will provide support to the Senior Management team.
This is a permanent role with opportunities for progression. This role will be suited to a part qualified accountant looking to complete the qualification or a candidate without accounting qualification, looking to obtain. Exam leave and support will be provided by the Company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Purchase order creation.
- Communicating with suppliers.
- Order receipt and reconciliation.
- Preparation of monthly pay run.
Accounts Receivable:
- Sales invoice preparation
- Communicating with customers.
Payroll
- Preparation of Weekly Payroll.
Additional responsibilities are available where there is appetite to progress and develop skillset.
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- Experience working with Accounting Software.
- Sage Accounts a distinct advantage.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong IT skills in implementing and operating accounting software.
Work Schedule:
- Monday - Friday.
- 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
- On-site.

Pay: €32,000.00-€37,000.00 per year
