This is a full-time (40 hours per week), on-site role located in Rathmines Dublin 6, we are looking 1 position, a Lead Educator for Woodlers aged 1-2 years old. You will be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment focused on the holistic developmental needs of the children in your care.
Principle duties include but are not limited to:
- Developing, planning and leading age-appropriate curriculum and activities for Woodlers
- Documenting children's progress through regular observation
- Effectively communicating with parents, children, and colleagues
Qualifications & Skills required for this role:
- Minimum Level 6+ childcare qualification recognized by the DCEDIY is essential.
- Experience working in a creche environment is desirable but training will be given.
- Familiarity with Aistear Curriculum and Siolta Quality Framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment for children.
- Adequate record-keeping skills, including the ability to maintain accurate progress reports and other required documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with other educators and support staff, to ensure the smooth operation of the service in a way that reflects good standards of care and well-being.
- Good understanding of verbal and written English is essential
Salary and benefits:
The annual salary for this position is €36,400 and is determined on the applicant’s relevant experience and recognised qualification.
