The Door Talent is supporting a centre created by families who wanted to build a meaningful, supportive space for young adults (18–23) with severe to profound intellectual disabilities.In just two years, the project has grown rapidly, supported by the HSE, and now operates multiple centres with a strong ethos of learning, development, and person‑centred care.
What You'll Be Doing
Supporting young adults through meaningful, structured daily activities Working mostly in‑house (80%), with education‑focused mornings Providing one‑to‑one or two‑to‑one support — always in shared rooms, never alone Bringing fresh ideas, creativity, and positive energy to the team Learning from experienced professionals and receiving ongoing supervision Contributing to a warm, supportive, close‑knit team culture
Who We're Looking For
Someone who is: Motivated, open‑minded, and eager to learn
Passionate about Social Care and personal development
Proactive, positive, and comfortable bringing new ideas
Excited about growing professionally as project expands
A strong communicator with excellent English (written & spoken)
A team player who values collaboration and culture
Requirements:

CORE registration

Full driving licence

2–3 years of experience in Social Care or a related field

Ideally based in Wicklow or nearby
