We are seeking a hardworking, positive, energetic, and customer-focused individual to join our busy Fuel & Garden Centre in Maynooth.
This is a permanent role in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment combining telesales, reception duties, online order processing, and in-store sales support.
We are looking for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, is confident on the phone, and can handle a varied role where priorities can change throughout the day.
About the Role
This is a varied position where you will be responsible for handling customer interactions across multiple channels including phone, email, online orders, and in-person queries.
You will play an important role in ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate order processing, and excellent customer service standards.
The role requires someone who is organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a busy environment where teamwork is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking customer orders over the phone and entering them accurately into our delivery system.
- Processing online orders and responding to customer enquiries.
- Providing excellent customer service via phone and in-store.
- Working on reception and greeting customers in a professional manner.
- Operating tills and handling cash/card transactions.
- Assisting with sales enquiries and product information.
- Supporting general shop floor duties and maintaining a tidy, well-presented store.
- Assisting with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2* years’ experience in telesales, sales, retail, admin, or reception roles*.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Confident using computers and accurate data entry skills.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
Working Hours
Example working week:
- Monday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Tuesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Alternate shift pattern may also apply:
- 10:00am – 7:00pm on the same days depending on rota
Occasional weekend availability may be required depending on business needs, with notice given in advance.
