Hartley People Recruitment on behalf of our client in the food retail industry is seeking a Baker in Lucan.
This role serves a vital function in the store bakery, ensuring the products produced are high quality, in line with company standards. The successful candidate should have Bakery Production certification and be able to deliver top class customer service.
The Job
Key Responsibilities:
· Produce and bake products to the company standard, following company recipes and specifications.
· Ensure all products are finished and displayed at the highest standard
· Follow and execute production planning procedures
· Ensure food, health, safety and QA requirements are met and followed
· Conduct on a clean as you go policy
· Maintain systems and legislations relevant to the department
· Support the Bakery Management team in meeting KPIs including sales promotion, waste control and quality control
· Correct recording of waste
· Participate with training and up skilling
The Person
Competencies:
· Bakery Production Certification (required)
· HACCP
· Knowledge of food, health and safety regulations
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Excellent customer service and communication skills
