Traffic Management operatives will work as part of a team with the responsibility of installation, maintenance, and removal of traffic management activities.
The candidate should be able to survey and design a traffic management layout, assist in the production of TM plans, complete risk assessments and carry out regular site checks. Full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills for the role
- Excellent communication skills to be able to operate 2-way radio systems.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to work long hours, day, and night in all weather conditions.
- Ability to follow instructions issued by the team supervisor.
- Valid Safe pass.
- Valid Manual Handling Certificate/Training provided.
- Valid SLG 3-day ticket. (Preferred but not essential).
- Smartphone.
- A full EU driving license would be beneficial but not essential.
- Availability for overnight stays when required, accommodation will be provided.
Some of the duties the traffic management operative will perform are as follows:
- Stop/Go.
- Road Closures and Diversions.
- Lane Closures.
- Setting up and management of traffic light systems.
- Flagman duties at road closure points.
Pedestrian management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: €14.75-€17.00 per hour
