At obodo, we’re not a regular gym.
Obodo is a community-driven fitness space in Cork built on movement, connection and long-term health.
We deliver group training, personal training, events and specialist classes in a supportive, no-ego environment. We are growing and evolving, with a strong focus on systems, coaching standards and member experience.
This role is perfect for someone who:
- Loves coaching people and building their confidence.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
This is a varied role with a huge opportunity to grow and learn within the business. Depending on your experience and strengths, responsibilities may include:
- Coaching functional fitness and group classes.
- Personal Training.
- Supporting member experience and retention.
- Programming and class planning.
- Gym operations and administration.
- Community events and member engagement.
- Helping us continue to raise the standard of coaching and experience at obodo.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need to tick every box, but ideally, you:
- Are fluent in English (essential for clear communication with our community).
- Have solid experience in Strength Training and CrossFit.
- Have a strong background coaching functional fitness/group training.
- Bring great energy and excellent people skills.
- Are organised, proactive, and reliable.
- Have a genuine interest in health, movement, and coaching development.
- Want to be part of a team that actually cares.
Bonus if you have experience in:
- Programming
- Social media
- Nutrition or mobility
- Event organisation/community building
