Electrician (Renewables)

Hartley People Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing renewable energy and energy solutions provider to recruit a Qualified Electrician for projects across the South East.
The company delivers residential and commercial renewable energy installations including solar PV systems, battery storage, EV charging systems and wider energy upgrade works. They are seeking an electrician with strong installation experience and a practical, customer-focused approach.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business operating within the expanding renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission solar PV systems, battery storage and associated electrical works
- Carry out electrical testing, fault finding and inspections
- Install and connect EV chargers and related systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Ensure all works are completed to required standards and regulations
- Complete installation documentation and certification
- Liaise with customers and project teams during installations
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications
- Experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical installations
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Good understanding of electrical regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and within installation teams
- Full clean driving licence
Desirable
- Solar PV installation experience
- Experience with battery storage systems or EV chargers
- Safe Electric registration
- Renewable energy sector experience
