We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused
Van Driver & Sales Representative to join our team on a
temporary fixed-term basis to provide holiday cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting customers, and contributing to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely and efficiently, ensuring orders are accurate and on time.
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Build strong relationships with existing customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Promote products, introduce new lines and identify opportunities to increase sales.
- Develop new business by identifying and securing new customer accounts.
- Merchandise products, maintain stock levels and collect payments where required.
- Complete all delivery paperwork accurately and maintain delivery records.
- Maintain the company van to a high standard and report any issues promptly.
- Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety, Quality, HACCP and road traffic requirements.
- Meet agreed sales, service and business growth targets.
- Represent Arthur Mallon Foods professionally at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Full Irish or EU driver’s license category B & C
- Forklift driving will be required (Training will be provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a route effectively.
- Reliable, organised, and self-motivated.
- Sales-focused mindset with the confidence to engage with customers.
