Midweek Breakfast Waiter
Westport Woods Hotel is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Midweek Breakfast Waiter to join our Food and Beverage team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with early starts and takes pride in providing a welcoming start to our guests' day.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing the breakfast restaurant and buffet area before service.
- Ensuring the breakfast buffet is well presented, fully stocked and replenished throughout service.
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly and attentive service.
- Taking tea, coffee and other beverage orders and serving them promptly.
- Assisting guests with menu queries, dietary requirements and general requests.
- Clearing and resetting tables throughout breakfast service.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the restaurant and buffet areas.
- Cleaning and sanitising tables, counters and service areas after breakfast.
- Assisting with the breakdown and cleaning of the breakfast buffet at the end of service.
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider Food and Beverage team to ensure breakfast service runs smoothly.
- Responding to guest queries or concerns in a helpful and professional manner.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is friendly, punctual and enjoys working as part of a team. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or café environment would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
The position is primarily for midweek morning shifts, so applicants should have good availability Monday to Friday and be comfortable with early starts.
